This Calgary East community was founded in 1910, reaching back to the beginning of Calgary's history. It has a population of 6,217. It is bordered by the Bow River and Deerfoot Trail on the west, Memorial Dr. on the north, International Avenue on the south, and 36 St SE on the east. The community's location along the escarpment provides incredible views of downtown and the Rockies - a route to stroll along that you'll never get tired of.
Albert Park's central location next to Deerfoot Trail gives it exceptional access to all areas of the city and beyond, both in terms of roads and transit. It is less than a kilometre from both Franklin and Barlow LRT stations on the Blue Line. It's connected to 7 bus routes. The Bow River Pathway system is easily accessible for those who commute by bike. This is one of the best connected communities in SE Calgary, there's no doubt about that.
Downtown is a 10 minute drive away on Memorial Trail, and is also very easily accessible via the LRT. Calgary International Airport is 15 minutes away on Deerfoot Trail. Access out of the city is not further than 20 minutes in any direction.

The Bow River Pathway system and the fabulous greenspace that it runs through are all just down the hill from here. This includes the Inglewood Bird Sanctuary and Pearce Estate Park. The Max Bell Centre is also very easily accessible from here.
The historic community of Inglewood is just down the hill, and the access to the Stampede Grounds and the Saddledome are hard to beat among SE communities.
