Rundle is a NE Calgary residential community located towards the centre of the northeast quadrant near Sunridge Mall, north of 16th Ave NE. Rundle homes for sale are a majority single family detached homes with 59% of the housing share and 2,180 individual houses. Rundle townhouses are very numerous compared to nearby communities with 29% of the housing share and 1,081 individual dwellings. Living here is a population of 11,542 people living in 3,670 dwellings spread over an area of 2.6 square kilometres. Rundle was developed in 1973 along with its neighbouring communities. Most of the homes are from that time period and are typical of the 1970s suburban style. Greenspace runs through the community and is connected by an internal path system. Rundle is bounded by 32nd Ave NE to the north, 52nd St NE to the east, 16th Ave NE on the south, and 36th St NE to the west. Transit is connected to the community via Rundle LRT Station on the west side of the community on 36th St NE. This is within walking distance for many west side placed homes, and a short bus ride for more eastern homes. Trips downtown with Calgary Transit take approximately 45 minutes.
Rundle is well located near Sunridge Mall, located directly west of the community across 36th St NE. It also has superb access to the commercial stretch lining 36th St NE from Whitehorn down to Memorial Trail.
