Deer Run is a SE Calgary community that was established in 1978, and has a population of 5,341. The community is bordered by Fish Creek Provincial Park on all sides except the north, where it is connected to the community of Deer Ridge.
Access to Downtown and out of the city is provided by convenient connections to Deerfoot Tr. and MacLeod Trail. Downtown is approximately 20 - 25 minutes by car. There are bus connections to the Red Line LRT, Anderson Station and Fish Creek Station.
Calgary International Airport is 25 - 30 minutes by car, accessible via Deerfoot Trail.
